2. Permissions & Usage
We request only the minimum permissions required for each application's specific functionality:

- Tabs & Bookmarks: To organize your browser environment.
- Storage: To save your layout preferences locally.
MD WYSIWYG Editor
- Side Panel: To function alongside your browsing.
- File System Access (Optional): Required only if you choose to save or open files directly from your computer.
kouzouka
- Storage (Local): To save your workspace state and preferences.
- File System Access: To save your structured JSON files and load templates from your device.
3. Data Storage & Security
Our applications are designed with a Local-First architecture, ensuring that your data remains primarily on your device.
- Local Storage: IndexedDB and LocalStorage are used to save settings and states within your browser.
- File System: Files you create (Markdown, JSON, etc.) are saved directly to your local hard drive.
Cloud Storage Integration (e.g., Google Drive)
Some of our applications may offer features to sync or backup data to third-party cloud storage services (such as Google Drive). Please note:
- Voluntary Usage: Any connection to cloud services is optional and initiated solely by your explicit action.
- Direct Connection: Data transmission occurs directly between your browser and the cloud provider's API.
- No Access: We (Ballsjp Design) do not have access to your cloud accounts, files, or authentication tokens. We cannot interact with, view, or manage any data you choose to store in the cloud.
