- Bookmarks: Required to integrate with your browser's bookmark system for seamless access.
- Storage: Required to save your Island configurations and preferences locally.
These permissions are used strictly to facilitate the launcher's features and are never used to collect or transmit your data.
3. Third-Party Services
IslandLauncher does not use third-party tracking or analytics scripts. We do not integrate with any external advertising networks or data brokers.
4. Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your device:
- Island configurations and groupings
- Custom bookmarks and links
- Theme preferences and settings
- User interface customizations
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or backup your settings.
5. Google Drive Sync (Optional)
If you choose to use the optional Google Drive sync feature:
- Your Island data is encrypted before being uploaded to your personal Google Drive.
- Only you have access to this data through your Google account.
- We do not have access to your Google Drive or any data you store there.
